Our first experiences with our own Manuka variety were outstanding. As you can see from the lab test on the website, it had 448 MGO at the time of bottling, but is now at 698 MGO.
At first, you didn't even realize you were getting sick, only that you couldn't smell your own perfume. Out of reflex, you immediately took three spoonfuls of Manuka honey. You noticed a scratchy throat and a slight cough. But nothing else.
A few minutes later, you smell your perfume again and think—huh? What was that? It wasn't connected to the Manuka at all. Only later do we notice...
➖ Sense of smell gone
➖ Scratchy throat
➖ mild cough
➖ Drove from rain in Germany to 37-degree heat in Marseille with air conditioning. Must have caught a cold.
➖ Sense of smell returned
➖ not sick, everything gone
➖ Definitely an experience to share
A few days later, we shot a previously unpublished video for you in the water, stepping on sharp stones and tearing open my foot. The tear is swollen and quite painful. Manuka is known for its external use, anti-inflammatory properties, etc.
➖ In the evening, put on a plaster
➖ In the morning, swelling gone and pain halved
➖ continue
Conclusion of the unplanned self-test
THIS MANUKA NOT ONLY TASTES GOOD, IT CAN DO A LOT MORE
Unfiltered honey is a high-quality product with a wide range of benefits. Filtering pure honey to make it appear cleaner means accepting a loss of quality. Precious substances like propolis or other natural bee products are removed and sold separately. This can generate 10-30 times the profit. Typical properties are lost. We consciously avoid this. Our honeys remain pure and unfiltered before they reach you.
Important to know about pure, natural honey: Real honey can crystallize (harden with a white layer) due to temperature fluctuations such as extreme cold. This is normal for pure honey. The white layer in our honey varieties is deposits of natural honeycomb. Very strong varieties often form small black lumps on the cap and in the center. This is natural propolis, a product that is 15 times more expensive than the honey itself. Both of these factors increase the quality even further.
If you want the honey to be a little more runny, you need to place the honey pot in a bowl with warm water. Do not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. PLEASE NOTE: Do not heat the honey at all. This destroys the important nutrients and leaves only the flavor. So only use warm water, not boiling.
