At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah reported that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم asked Asma' bint 'Umais: ☪️

"How do you deal with constipation?" She said, "I use Shubrum (Euphorb Piteus)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "(It is) hot and too laxative." Then she said, "I also use senna." The Prophet replied, "If there were a cure that would protect against death, it would be senna."

Ibn Majah also reported that ‘Abdullah ibn Umm Haram said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: “Use senna and sanut (cumin), for they cure every disease except saam.” He was asked: “What is saam?” He said: “Death.” ☪️

Ar-Razi said: "Senna and fumitory help to extract mature fluids (bodily waste) and help against leprosy and rashes if one takes four to seven units of each remedy." 🌠
