Snake oil gets its name from the certain sharpness of the mustard and jatamansi oil it contains. Also included are: Castor Oil, Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, Laurel Oil, Cyperus, Alkana Tinctoria and Santalam Albumen Oil.

Snake oil is primarily used against alopecia, hereditary hair loss, and usually achieves the first effects between 18-49 days. In some cases, not only is hair loss stopped or delayed, but new hair grows back. 

- Success in hereditary hair loss: 70-80%

- New hair growth success in approx. 1/3 = 33% of patients, full recovery reported in approx. 10%

Application:

• Night hair wrap: Massage snake oil into the scalp, wrap hair in a towel and let it sit overnight, rinse out with soap in the morning, once a week

• On the fly & easy: Massage into the scalp and leave on for 3 hours or add a few drops of snake oil to the shampoo every day

•  Alkana Tinctoria: Was already very popular with the ancient Romans for the production of red-colored make-up in the form of oil or paste. For this reason it is also known under the names make-up root or red coloring root. It also protects the hair from graying.
