black cumin
The use of black cumin by the Muslims:
Muslims have used and propagated black seed for hundreds of years; Hundreds of articles have been written about it. The earliest documented cultivation of black cumin dates back more than 3,000 years. He's not just one from the Prophet ﷺ mentioned medicinal herb, but also has a special place in the medicine of the Prophet ﷺ . This is unique because it predates the recommendations of Muhammad ﷺ was not used to that extent. Although before the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ With more than 400 herbs used and listed among the herbs of Galen and Hippocrates, black cumin was not one of the most famous medicinals of the time. Due to the spread of Islam, black cumin and its use as a "medicine of the Prophet ﷺ " widely known. In fact, much of the popularity of preparing this herb is based on the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.
Black seed has become very popular in recent years and is marketed and sold by many Muslim and non-Muslim companies.
Its ingredients:
Black cumin is rich in nutrients. It contains almost 40% fatty oils and 1.4% essential oils. It also contains about 15 amino acids, proteins, calcium, iron, sodium and potassium. Its most effective components include thymoquinone, dithymoquinone, thymohydroquinone and thymol. Food Chemistry magazine found that black seed is rich in protein, carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, C and niacin, as well as calcium, potassium and iron. These are the actual nutrients that modern science has found we lack the most. It also provides many of the same nutrients that the FDA recommends for helping prevent disease and slowing down the aging process.
dr Michael Tierra, author of Planery Herbology, also found that black seed is rich in the above nutrients. He also discovered a notable number of sterols, most notably beta-sitosterol, which is known to have anti-cancer properties. The Journal of American Scientists reports that black seed has a variety of beneficial properties, such as antihistamine, antioxidant, antibiotic, antifungal, and bronchodilator effects.
Black Seed Seed Benefits and Uses:
Black seed is an excellent medicinal herb with many benefits and uses, especially when it comes to maintaining a strong and healthy immune system. The Prophet's reference to black cumin as having a cure for all diseases is not as exaggerated as it first appears. Black seed has been used for thousands of years against a variety of medicinal problems. Uses range from stomach ache to asthma, cancer to cough, to traditional use as a spice. Black cumin is also used as: a carminative (anti-bloating), a digestive (aid for digestion), a diuretic (a diuretic by removing excess water from the body), an emmenagogue (a menstrual-stimulating and regulating agent), and a galactagogue (increases milk production), as a solvent (dissolves ulcers and swelling), as a stimulant (increases the flow of adrenaline and energy), as a stomachic (relieves stomach upset), as a sudorific (increases perspiration), as a tonic (improves bodily functions) and as a vermifuge (repels worms). Caution should be exercised when pregnant or potentially pregnant women are using black seed because high doses of this product can provoke spontaneous abortion. To make sure you're dealing with black seed, look out for the words Nigella Sativa. Because only this plant, unlike ordinary cumin and coriander, has the ability to "cure all diseases".
Research indicates that black seed is a powerful anti-cancer treatment for certain types of cancer, including breast cancer and fibrocystic breast disease. Black seed may also be beneficial in treating high blood pressure. Aside from the possibility that it can trigger spontaneous pregnancy terminations (but only at high doses), there may be few, if any, harmful side effects from using black seed. Recent research has provided evidence that most diseases result from an imbalanced or dysfunctional immune system that is unable to perform its primary function of optimally defending the body. Research has also shown that black seed has the ability to significantly boost the human immune system - over time - when taken over a long period of time.
Before 1986 when Dr. When Al-Qâdî and his colleagues in the United States began a series of research, it was not yet clear about black seed's function in enhancing human immunity. After that, many researches were initiated in different countries. dr Al-Qâdî proved that the use of black cumin strengthens immunity because the proportion of T-lymph cells compared to the refraining cells increases by an average of 72%. There was also a significant development in the activity of natural defense cells, averaging 74%.
The results of many modern researches confirmed the discoveries of al-Qâdî. These include the results, published by the International Immunity Magazine in August 1995, dealing with the effect of black seed on external lymphoid cells and the activity of multinuclear white blood cells. Also in September 2000, the International Immunity Magazine published research on the effect of black seed oil in preventing salivary gland virus in laboratory rats. The black seed oil was tested as an antiviral substance and the immunity acquired in the early stages of the disease was measured by examining the natural killer cells and others.
In October 1999, the "European Cancer Magazine" published an article on the effect of thymoquinone on abdominal cancer in rats. Similarly, in 1998, a magazine specializing in cancer research published an article on black cumin extracts as a treatment for cancer tumors. In April 2000, "Ethanol Medical Magazine" wrote about the toxic content and immunity effects of ethanol derived from black seed. Also, in February 1995, Medical Plants Magazine published an article on the effects of durable black seed oil and thymoquinone on white blood cells. Much more research came out to support these facts.
Research is continuing into the effects of black cumin. Research trials are also planned in various countries to investigate its actual effect on humans. However, we need no further than the words of the prophet ﷺ gaze telling us that there is healing in this plant. As long as we trust in Allah and follow the decree His Prophet has given us ﷺ has given, we will all be a proof that this plant has great properties to cure all diseases.
Nonetheless, more research needs to be done on the appropriate dosages of this medicinal herb for various medical conditions. We pray that Allah will guide Muslim medical professionals to take a closer look at this plant and start describing it for all our physical ailments.
final word
The Prophet ﷺ informed us that black cumin is a remedy for every disease. The Arabic word "Shifa" (healing) came out with the definite article meaning it is an indefinite word that covers most healings. This means that the black seed helps to cure any disease. It has been scientifically proven that the immune system is the only system that has the ability to fight disease and produce cells that kill viruses.
Based on these facts, we can summarize that black cumin is a remedy for any disease because it strengthens the immune system, which is responsible for healing diseases and fighting viruses.
The scientific facts are obvious. Only a prophet can claim the credit of knowing these facts fourteen centuries ago. Allah Almighty says: "And he doesn't speak at will. It is certainly only a revelation that is revealed." (Sura 53:3-4).
