In the hadiths there are several beneficial statements about Indian costus:

• "You should use the Indian frankincense, because in it one finds healing for seven diseases."
• "Hijamah, cupping, and sea costus are the best you can treat yourself with."
• "Uses Indian ud, spec. fragrant wood or Indian Kostus Al Qust Al Hindi, for verily it contains seven remedies."

Fields of application in the prophetic Islamic, Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic healing tradition:

🔳 Loss of appetite, asthma, bronchitis, boosting the immune system, intestinal disorders, flatulence, skin disorders, prevention of gray hair, used to treat worm infections (nematode infections), extract & oil as an aphrodisiac, the Indian spicy costus chases away the jinn according to Islamic traditions and is used therefore often used in the Roqya.

The plant is precious, is protected in India & Pakistan.

Application Notes:

Drink: Stir 1-2 teaspoons daily into slightly warm water (with a little honey if desired) and drink

Nose Drops: Recipe one in ten: 1:10
Mix 1 tablespoon of Qust al Hindi with 10 tablespoons of olive oil and shake well. Ideal for repeated use: nose drops pipette.

Do not take during pregnancy, breastfeeding or menstruation.
