Successes 🌟 Founding 🌟 Conclusion 🌟 Roots 🌟
Barakka Group was founded 11 months ago. Owner Ruqayyah Sow has always wanted to improve the fair trade system. Raised as an African American in the Bronx, New York, and living in Berlin-Wedding, she has already seen enough to develop a social conscience.
The production of shea butter in Africa was not only her first step and a matter close to her heart, but also a commodity that she herself had consumed since she was a child.
Not only her people, the Fulani people, but actually all of Africa cannot survive without shea butter.
This video is a contemporary witness to their first upgrade successes of the well-known Fair Trade system. https://youtu.be/0OyZqvGsD_A
Fair trade emphasizes humane working conditions and a pleasant climate, as well as avoiding child labor.
The upgrades by Barakka Group are located here:
Job creation measures: 118 people in need have now become former needy people in 11 countries, including Yemen, Burkina Faso, etc. They are being integrated into the job market and trained by professionals.
Hilfstaler supplement the social aspect of various products for orphans, the hungry, widows and the destitute, who otherwise have nothing in common with production.
Producers are built up through increasing offtakes (video) & support in production (better machines - video)
Manufacturers no longer have to travel to big cities to sell, where they waste a lot of money getting there and their goods lose value due to dumping exploitation. (Video)
Production sites are visited by ourselves + Transparency (video)
